It is effective in polyolefins, including low and high density polyethylene, olefin copolymers (EPR, EPDM, EVA), polypropylene, and other polymers including polyvinyl chloride, polyesters, natural and synthetic resins, polystyrene and ABS.

PowerSorb™ 1577 is a new class of chemical UV absorbers exhibiting very low volatility and good compatibility with a variety of polymers, resin compositions and co-additives. This triazine UV absorber allows polycarbonates and polyesters to achieve a higher resistance to weathering than conventional UV Absorbers.
